Moscow Fashion week – A Melting Pot of Creativity and Culture

The largest fashion event in Eastern Europe and Asia, held from October 4th to 9th in Kremlin. An estimate of 1,100 designers having applied to take part are from various countries with majority from Russia. The BRICS+ Fashion Summit had 100 delegates from various countries to discuss critical issues like AI and sustainability. This led to the formation of the BRICS International Fashion Federation (BRICS IFF) that will spearhead the changing fashion landscape.

The Moscow Fashion Week offers designers a unique opportunity to showcase their work to a global audience and explore collaborative opportunities.  ANGELO ESTERA representing UAE has come up with a collection titled Elysian Blooms. Enchanted by the beauty of Elysium’s flowering plants, the collections include evening dresses with architectural silhouettes, an invigorating color palette resembling a beautiful garden, floral motifs with meticulously crafted airy fabrics.

Sharing the spotlight on the runway is Costa Rican brand EVE VALVERDE, dedicated to sustainable fashion and artisanal craftsmanship. Their collection pays homage to Costa Rica’s lush flora, made from natural materials like organic cotton and linen, emphasizing a strong commitment to sustainability. Some notable Russian brands include INNIKI and KOSS. Their designs are inspired from their culture and modern urban settings. [1]
