Riyadh Fashion Week 2024 Highlights 

Riyadh Fashion Week 2024 wrapped up successfully, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s rising prominence in the global fashion scene. Held at renowned venues like Tuwaiq Palace, Digital City, and JAX District, the event showcased over 30 runway shows that blended local craftsmanship with international influences.  

There were collections from renowned Saudi designers Adnan Akbar and Tima Abid, who adeptly blended traditional heritage with contemporary trends. Key industry figures, including James Fallon from Women’s Wear Daily and Francesca Airoldi from Condé Nast Italia, acknowledged Riyadh’s increasing relevance in global fashion. 

 Six different runway shows on the 2nd day featuring designers like Waad Aloqaili and Yahya Albishri unveiled vibrant collections that illustrated the evolution of Saudi fashion.  

 Saudi Arabia’s first runway robot, Sarah, was introduced during the Spring/Summer 2025 collection by Kawthar Alhoraish. Continued impressive showcases from designers such as Mona Al Shebil, ABADIA, and Razan Alazzouni further celebrated Saudi cultural depth and modern aesthetics.
