PVH Reshuffles Calvin Leadership

Eva Serrano, Global Brand President of Calvin Klein, is stepping down, parent company PVH Corp. has confirmed. She will be succeeded by David Savman, PVH’s Global Head of Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer, who joined the company in 2022. In 2024, Savman also served as interim CEO for PVH Europe.

Under Serrano’s leadership, Calvin Klein was strategically aligned under a unified global vision as part of the broader PVH+ Plan. “Eva has played a pivotal role in establishing a strong foundation for Calvin Klein’s future growth,” said PVH CEO Stefan Larsson. “With this foundation in place, we are now taking the next step in our growth journey as we further tap into Calvin Klein’s iconic DNA.”

Serrano was recruited by Larsson and joined PVH in 2023 after a tenure at Inditex, where she held various leadership roles, including President for Greater China at Zara. During her time at Calvin Klein, she appointed Veronica Leoni as the brand’s first Creative Director since Raf Simons’ departure in 2018. Together, they reinstated the high-end Calvin Klein Collection on the runway, returning to New York Fashion Week in February after a six-year absence.

Reflecting on her tenure, Serrano commented: “I’m incredibly proud to have been a part of this extraordinary brand journey where we have built the global foundation to unlock future growth, and I look forward to seeing the team take this forward.”

Serrano previously emphasised the collaborative, brand-first ethos she fostered with Leoni: “[The relationship we have] makes a difference. We don’t always agree, and there’s space for debate. That creates growth, but the respect for each other — the clarity that, for both of us, the brand comes first. We have that above us. Veronica is important, and I might be, but the brand comes first.”

Looking ahead, Larsson expressed confidence in Savman’s ability to lead. “David — with the Calvin Klein team around the world, including Jonathan Bottomley, who has led the brand to unprecedented levels of consumer engagement, and Veronica Leoni, who creates the aspirational halo for the brand — will further build out our product, marketing, and marketplace strength to bring our brand vision to life. David is a people-focused leader with a proven ability to elevate brands, execute with a robust operating engine, and deliver PVH+ Plan performance — all of which will be critical as we take Calvin Klein into this next chapter.”

PVH, which also owns Tommy Hilfiger, reported revenues of $8.65 billion in 2024. Calvin Klein sales declined by 1% to $3.86 billion. The brand’s transition to a New York-based product development model introduced longer lead times, supply chain challenges, and increased costs, Larsson told investors. He also noted market uncertainty in the US as a continuing concern.

Despite setting ambitious growth targets, PVH has yet to achieve meaningful revenue acceleration. In Q4 2024, Calvin Klein saw a 2% drop in revenue, largely due to a 4% decrease in international sales. For 2025, the company projects flat to modestly increased revenue across the group.
