Starting on April 16, Helena Norrman has been appointed as EVP & Head of Group Communications, a newly created role in the company’s Group Executive Committee. Helena will oversee SSAB’s communication strategies and operations and will be responsible for communication at SSAB.
SSAB developed SSAB Fossil-free™ steel with the intent to reinvent the value chain from the mine to the end customer, by removing carbon dioxide emissions from their operations. SSAB Zero™, a large carbon emission-free steel based on recycled steel, has been strengthening SSAB’s leadership position and a comprehensive, sustainable offering independent of the raw material.
Helena Norrman joined SSAB from her role as partner and communications advisor at global communications consultancy Kekst CNC. She held several leading positions at the global telecom company Ericsson, heading Marketing and Corporate Relations, and was a member of the company’s Executive Team.
