French cosmetics meet the enchanting landscapes of Arabia 

The France Pavilion, organized by Business France, is poised to present a remarkable delegation of 96 French companies specializing in beauty and cosmetics at the highly anticipated Beautyworld Middle East exhibition from October 28th to 30th at the Dubai World Trade Centre. 

The event will feature 14 pioneering French companies known for delivering high-quality products, pioneer leaders in research and development, who are committed to utilizing natural and sustainable ingredients along with technological advancements. 

The French cosmetics accounted for 27% of sales in beauty and skincare products and 21% in fragrances in 2023 making them stand out in global scale. 

The Middle Eastern market, particularly Dubai, presents lucrative opportunities for French cosmetics firms establishing a vibrant ecosystem for French brands. Anti-aging creams and high-tech facial masks in Saudi Arabia, natural products in Egypt, cosmetics and perfumes in Kuwait, makes France major supplier of cosmetics to the Middle East. Currently, 70% of French cosmetics is exported to the region.  

With increasing consumer awareness, preference for clean beauty products sourced ethically is rising. Forcing brands to be transparent and sustainable. “France is renowned for its commitment to sustainability, clean beauty, natural ingredients, and innovative skincare solutions,” remarked Axel Baroux, Regional Director of Business France Near & Middle East. “French cosmetic brands have been at the forefront of developing products that not only enhance beauty but also respect the environment and promote well-being. This alignment with regional trends further solidifies France’s position as a leader in the global beauty industry, offering products that cater to the evolving demands of consumers who are mindful of both quality and ethical practices” added Axel. 

Some standout brands at the pavilion are Feî Paris, La Reine Capricieuse, L’Officine du Thé, and Mon SHAMPOING. Each brand focuses on the client’s well-being with natural and innovative technology. 

The event provides a platform connecting B2B buyers with leading French suppliers in wellness and beauty. Enhancing sourcing experiences in a secure environment supported by the French government. [1
