FC Barcelona have announced a new multi year agreement with American kit supplier Nike which will help to further alleviate their financial problems.
The length and value of the new Barcelona and Nike contract has yet to be disclosed, but according to Spanish media, it is said to be one of the biggest deal in sports industry.
“Barcelona and Nike, two leading brands in the sport industry, are pleased to announce a new start with a multi-year partnership agreement, starting effective this season, that brings a new collaborative strategic partnership model between the two organisations,” Barcelona said in a statement.
Since their initial sponsorship deal inked in 1998, FC Barcelona and Nike have been deeply committed to innovation, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence on and off the field. Together, they have witnessed incredible football in four decades.
With this new collaboration, Nike solidifies its position as the club’s primary partner and the official technical partner for both professional and amateur teams, introducing a distinctive model that enhances brand connection and propels the expansion of the worldwide retail and licensing industries.
