Cycora Collection Unveiled

Reformation, a sustainable fashion brand in Los Angeles, has collaborated with Ambercycle, a material science innovator, to launch a collection that showcases cyclone, Ambercycle’s recycled polyester.
The agreement, which marks the beginning of an ongoing engagement, aligns with Reformation’s overarching objective of becoming circular by 2030. In a statement, Kathleen Talbot, Reformation’s chief sustainability officer and vice president of operations, said, “To us, that means using as little virgin material as possible, creating as little waste, and keeping what’s in the fashion system in use for as long as possible.”
The new collection from Reformation, which complements the brand’s limited-edition jewellery line by Clare Waight Keller, is inspired by Paris in the 1920s and includes sophisticated evening dresses and cyclone-made items. The fashion industry’s demand for sustainable, closed-loop products is satisfied by Cycora, a high-performance material manufactured from discarded textiles that regenerates waste textiles into long-lasting, premium fabrics that can be reused repeatedly without losing performance.
In a statement, Ambercycle CEO Shay Sethi said, “We are thrilled to assist Reformation in achieving their circularity objectives and appreciate their high material standards.”

This collaboration not only highlights Reformation’s commitment to sustainability but also sets a new standard for innovation in the fashion industry. By embracing cutting-edge materials like Cycora, Reformation is reinforcing its mission to reduce environmental impact while offering consumers stylish, eco-friendly choices. As the brand continues its journey towards circularity, this partnership signals a promising shift towards a more sustainable and responsible future for fashion. (1)
