COS, a London-based fashion brand owned by the H&M Group, has revealed its first limited-edition denim capsule collection made up of 20% pre-loved Cos clothing.
COS REMADE introduced the brand’s first denim capsule, comprising five versatile womenswear styles crafted from 20% collected, pre-loved cotton pieces by COS. The limited-edition collection gives fibres renewed purpose, reimagining wardrobe staples with a thoughtful fusion of utilitarian design and artistic expression. Twenty percent of each item is made from pre-owned cotton that COS has gathered through its COS REMADE program. COS REMADE was established in 2021 and cleans and restores lightly used clothing so that it can be sold again. Cos has been looking into recycling options to turn unblended materials like cotton and wool into new clothing.
Building on the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and quality, the collection features statement pieces including an elongated top made from a single piece of fabric that elegantly falls around the body using fold techniques, a boat-neck top with an integrated scarf, and a rounded funnel-neck jacket. Styled as sets with the barrel leg trouser or straight-line skirt, or layered as separates, the collection offers silhouettes that embody an effortless, timeless style.
COS has contributed to the fashion industry by shifting from a linear to a more circular way of working and empowering the people who make their work possible. Their design ethos has always put timeless style and craftsmanship first. They have focused on sourcing quality materials that include organic, recycled and regenerative, and creating solutions to extend the life of their products – beyond the point of purchase.
