Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. (ABFRL) has emerged as the highest-ranked Indian retail enterprise in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). It now leads the Indian retail sector and holds the fourth position globally in the retail category.
With an outstanding score of 82, ABFRL ranks in the 99th percentile among its global peers, securing a place in the prestigious S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025. This recognition underscores its leadership in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.
Ashish Dikshit, Managing Director of ABFRL, highlighted that sustainability is at the core of the company’s business strategy. He emphasised that this achievement reaffirms ABFRL’s commitment to responsible growth through innovation, collaboration, and a long-term vision, strengthening its industry leadership and inspiring new benchmarks in sustainable business practices.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is an annual publication assessing the ESG performance of companies worldwide. Based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), it recognises industry leaders committed to excellence in environmental, social, and governance practices. To qualify, companies must rank in the top 15% of their industry and achieve a CSA score within 30% of the highest performer in their sector.
